Hi all,

Anyone got any experience with these?

I need to replace the corroded coil pack on my 2016 Kawasaki ER-6F and don't really want to spend £216 on OEM ones if i can get away with it..

The're on ebay here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-KAWASAKI-ER-6N-NINJA-650R-ZX-12R-VERSYS-Z1000-Z750S-ZR-IGNITION-COIL-IC503/271033961441

Many thanks,

Dan

One of my OEM coils failed in August last year and I replaced it with one of those and it seems to be okay.

Just for anyone else looking here in the future all seems fine.

Slightly looser fit than the oem ones - but i've packed them with dialectric grease and will keep my fingers crossed..

Cheers..

Nothing wrong with those in pic. Look the same as mine Denso branded. They seem to have a thin rusty steel shim and thin plastic wrapping, but if you unwrap, the plastic casing underneath will be fine. I have had mine unwrapped for about 40k miles. Keep as spare or stick on ebay.

As I had mine out... One had already rusted and split, another I took the steel shim out today and the other two are as standard.

Im quite sure the steel shim is just a spacer to help seal the rocker cover plug bores and have been running mine without since 2016.
