If it's a broken bolt, get a new bolt.
Or do you mean something different? When you say "in the front of the engine" do you mean it's broken off leaving part of it in the engine casting?

Being a Harley rider and a fan of out of date technology, he's probably waiting for the photo to be developed by Boots, so he can scan it and upload it, for us all to see.

Says the bloke riding TZR 2 strokes and a 90s Yamaha 750!

"Out of date" only due to emissions! They can still do the business on the track now 
The TZR being the first ally "Deltabox" style frame and the first proddy 250cc to do the IOM at over 100mph.
The TDR is pretty unique too.
Yamaha pioneered a lot of tech, from the first 2T and 4T power valves, first engine slanted forward in the FZ750, which also pioneered 5 valve heads, first modern box section ally chassis as in the TZR..
Harley pioneered the first tassel accessory kit.

If the bolt has broken you need to remove it and replace it with a new one.
To remove it, have you got sufficient thread to grip with Mole grips or similar?
If not, can you tap it with a punch to jar the threads? Then, try to use an extractor.
Finally, can you drill it out, retap new threads and fit a new bolt?
