Hi I just purchased a used 2009 Honda a-wing.
The guy I bought it from said the engine was seized as the back wheel locked up on him. Checked the bike over and engine wasn’t seized so got it running but there is a strange tapping noise coming from it I’ll try and post vide of it so you can hear. Not sure if it’s top end or main bearings and bike smokes when started and drive. Thanks for your help.
Can anyone tell me how to attach a video of the noise? Newbie here lol

What is a "Honda a-wing"? Could be various things, possibly piston-related or indeed worse. Get the top end off and have a look, you can't run it like that.

It sounds like piston slap, often caused by worn rings. If that's the case it would also explain the engine smoke.

Hm, "piston slap" is caused by a worn piston, or a worn bore, or both, which causes the piston to rock back and forth in the bore, which makes it rattle ("slap" on the bore).
