80s Honda weirdness

I'm not that familiar with or into 80s bikes but this is worth a watch just to see the kind of engineering tangents Honda got itself into in the 80's.

The video is a tongue in cheek review of the 1982 Honda CB900 Custom - This thing had an output sprocket and chain on the left hand side connected to a 90 degree sprocket/bevel shaft arrangement to turn the shaft drive on the right hand side which meant it needed a two speed transfer case . . .

It must have been 'fun' for the Honda engineers who were tasked with making this thing work . . .
