Clearly I know a lot more than you. We can tell because I substantiated my claims, whereas you just asked questions of those better informed than yourself such as myself, while providing no evidence. You're just mad because you were hoping I would call it a conspiracy, but I didn't, and the premise of your defence sank like a lead lined pirate gallion in a Tusnami Wink

Enjoy your app though Mr. Green

It isn't much more useful than an app which generates random notifications, both provide the same false sense of protection. Thoughout your day you will pass people who have covid and you may or may not contract the virus. It's useless information.

I think you're looking at the app in the wrong way. Sure, when it tells you you've been near someone with the virus it's too late for you, but you've had an early warning to self-isolate and stop further transmission. The benefit is societal. You'll be glad the guy you would have met, but didn't, was carrying the app. I think that's the theory anyway. Still not sure in practice.

"WE" can tell? No, I don't think YOU can. Using the inclusive "we" just makes you look sillier.

You have not "substantiated" any of your statements. I asked you further questions, because you provided no answers, and still have not.

So, I will ask again:

But YOU said the app was "not much more useful than an app which generates notifications at random points throughout the month because you need extended contact for transmission". That does not relate just to you, it would be the same for everybody. So are the government, and governments of other countries using similar apps, and their scientific and medical advisers wrong, or are you wrong?

Which is it?

Another sweeping statement - Middle aged men from the Kent area are racist.

There are plenty of Remoan Milenials on Twitter encouraging people to spread the virus thinking it only kills Brexit voters.

Can you provide a link to one such encouragement as an example?

No complaints about today's unsolicited and unannounced install of a bare-bones COVID-19 app on your Android or Apple smartphone? You know, the one you've got on your smartphone, right now? Oh.

Seeing as it's not enabled, and I have a Huawei phone, is not really the biggest of my problems.

It's just an update to allow the app(s) to operate I gather. A collaboration by Apple and Google and no use whatsoever if you don't download the tracking app.

To quote a certain lady....

That's OK. Have you a very short nose, or a very long one? I have, as ever, a reason for asking.

Strange, the install of said app? framework? whatever it is... flattened the battery on my wife's phone (S8 or S9, can't remember which it is) but my Note is so far unmolested Thinking
