MTX125 ENGINE

Hi.

I know these bikes are far and few between now.
But iv got a MTX125. Long story behind it but in short the engine was stolen out of it. Iv been told by numerous people that the ns125 engine fits straight in and that they were fitted into later models.

Well stupidity took over and I bought a TC01 engine from a ns125 engine and fully rebuilt it without checking if it fits first.

Iv gone to drop it in today and she doesn't fit =(

Dr Google dosent give much some say they drop straight in some say they don't fit.

Has anyone ever done it or seen it done??.

As far as I can work out later ones built in Italy came with the ns125 engine but I don't know it the mountings are different on the frame or it has brackets ect to make it fit the standard mountings.

Any help or suggestion please and thank you.....
