That was a bit cruel. Or it would be if it wasn't an inanimate object. But it's currently sitting in the corner of the drive, looking folorn, while this now occupies the launch-pad. Mr. Green

I'm blaming it on this old video of mine. Silky was similarly moved but now won't watch it again in case he has a mad moment and gets a naked too. Laughing

When you went from the Kawasaki to the HD I was thinking 'you sure about that?' Good to see you back on an overpowered naked again haha

Just sold my CBR and I'm now patiently waiting for my dad to get his new Tuono so I can have his BMW

Always liked this verse.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Bike looks fast and mean without even moving, that's the hallmark of, "It's going to be fun".

The chain-tool and chain and sprockets are here. Unfortunately the wanker who sold the bike neglected to mention the chain was totally done (yes, I should have spotted it). He apologised and said he'd sort it, offered him half and half on the cost, had no reply since. He has probably the worst reputation on the internet as a 'dealer', genuine low-life crook.

CW Bikes, owned by callum.

Worse than someone whose name begins with "V" and ends with "t"?

It can get worse than a shot chain and sprockets... There's a dealer fairly local to me who catches CBTers early in their tracks, selling them dodgy scooters and doing dangerous repairs. One of those guys you have to be "in the know" about, because he's very charming and helpful at first. His Google Reviews page is an interesting read.

Fast, yes, fun, I am sure, but beautiful, it is not. Looks like Smilers R100 rat has had a baby with a red vstrom.

Have you seen the bug eyed monstrosity in your profile pic? Compared to that, it's like a piece of fine art...

Yes, it starts up noisy and remains noisy (a bit less after a minute or so). I'm on the edge of being too heavy for its springs but I've maxed the preload and on Normal it goes very well. Smile

the yam is taller (you feel like you are sitting high up)and shorter in the wheelbase.
electronic stuff is way more advanced on the bm.
cross plane engine is fun and makes a great moto gp type noise.
bmw had more power and way better brakes(even though the paid for reviews on you tube say different)
mt 10 does about 10 to 15 mpg less than the bm for the same kind of use.
dealer experience has been way better with yamaha.
i can see myself on the mt for another couple of years then its either the ducati or a tuono.probably the aprilia
