Hey team,

I need to replace the CDI box and pickup coils on my 1980 suzuki gsx750. Can anyone recommend a good replacement? The current one is a dynatek and is causing no spark on two plugs.

Many thanks !!

Sure it's not a bad ignition coil? Try swapping them and see if the problem moves with it.

no i replaced the coils thinking that was the problem but no joy. CDi box must be the problem, any recommendations on a suitable CDI box with pickup coils that will fit would be most welcome xx

Why not contact Dynatek and buy a replacement?

They still list the parts on their website and surely it woud be better to replace the failed part with something you know is compatible with the rest of the system.

How do you know? what tests have you done?

Sounds a bit 'swap and hope'-ish to me

but hey, money fixes everything right?

Here ya go, sorted.
