There was an argument that "they" might be overly hasty in pulling the plug if you're comatose with a cracking set of spare parts on you.

It's not an unreasonable assumption, and I bet there have been cases where it happened. Obviously they strongly deny this for obvious reasons, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. I mean even the local drug dealer swears he doesn't deal drugs, he still does though.

Although by being transplanted you in a sense continue to live after being dead, so thats a plus I suppose.
