Warned not to hold a vigil. Go out to hold vigil anyway. Get arrested. Reeee that men manhandling women is sexist Doh!

Do these people think their actions will illicit more, or less, sympathy from the 'general public' i.e the rest of us, I wonder..

Depends on your viewpoint, seems like politicians win again in pitting everyone against each other.

Regarding all types of politics Billy Connolly sums it up best.

While politicians are not high on my list of desirables, how is this a problem caused by them?

Girl gets murdered, Demonstrators break lockdown laws and whine when the police drag them away.

They wouldn't be whining if we had politicians and police like Myanmar, they'd be pushing up daisies.

Anyway, a question. Does anyone think these vigils, kneeling, demonstrations, riots, clappathons etc. do any good other than to feed the self worth of the demonstrators?

Nope. Pure virtue-signalling.

You forgot to mention how the organisers went to court first and the vigil was ruled illegal before they even did it. I think the police are standing on pretty firm ground on this one.

I had to Google RTS (Reclaim The Streets) to catch up on their Raison d'être.

Hippie Movement of Utopia Believing Delusionals.

'Non-violent' see them selves as a later day suffregette league.

The action they took for this event during a lock-down then reasoning the cancellation was coz Da police is the measure of their mentality.

Simply put, there can never be enough cannabis on the streets to tranq these individuals.

This shower of morons are employing the fog of internet ineptitude to further their fcuked-up agenda.

FB is awash with them.
Antagonists and non-conformist. I'd go so far as to suggest there's a substantial deal of Serious Personality Disorder among their ranks. (Oops should not have used rank. Trigger word.)

Well it's kicking off everywhere now. The seed is sown and just like that, men are the Anti-Christ.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-56397170

Apparently Australia has an issue with sexual assault against women being socially accepted - who knew?

The BBC were very proud to stick this photo in the article:

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cpsprodpb/127ED/production/_117575757_b77fb6a3-6275-4902-836b-d4bb59d98faa.png

Just have a look at that and try to process it. What are those poor kids going to have to learn from her Confused Crying or Very sad

Quote:
"It's not easy to bring them here," she told me. "But I want them to know this is important. I teach my children that we treat others with kindness and respect no matter who they are what gender they are.

"But these basic things don't seem to apply to the government. The message from the government is that women's voices don't matter, so I brought the kids here to show the them that this is not ok."

This is the second group to claim the name 'Reclaim the Streets.'

There was a movement back in the later 90's/early 2000's that aimed to reducing traffic pollution and make high streets etc more pedestrian friendly.

If I said all Irish were thick or all Asians smell of curry I'd be accused of stereotyping but obviously it's OK to say all men are rapists, misogynists or whatever. Rolling Eyes

Anyway, expect BLM to ramp up their rhetoric. They won't like being upstaged by a group of white middleclass women who haven't said it's only WHITE men that are a problem.

I have to ask, in this statement, who's 'we'? If that's the royal 'we' they can FRO.

Dont worry, from now on I will consider you to be neither of a fixed or fluid gender but some other third super-alternative gender.

I know people don't like Jordan Peterson but I think he said it best with:

"men and women are different but they have more in common with each other than there are differences"

Thanks for the link - a feminist with a reasoned argument is indeed a novelty. Someone you could have a long talk with (if you could get a word in edge-ways that is..

I think it's the same core group re-branded.

They obviously weren't getting enough attention as the first generation.

These groups seem to disproportionately attract fat ugly women for some reason. Can't imagine why...

They have plenty of time on their hands. It's not like they're gonna be at home cooking dinner for their man...

I'd always preached better dead than red and kept my distance and genuinely avoided the ginger throughout my childhood and adult life, this was up to the age of 35.

Whereupon god thought it would be funny as f..k to bless me with a red top.

Tbf its probably not retribution, just karma for having an Irish wife.
