Warning: this article from the BBC contains several lies, inaccuracies and exaggerations but as long as no one takes offence that's fine.

This on top of Peter Dinklage being accused of "punching down on other dwarf actors."

Leveraging the height advantage from standing on a soap box apparently.

I couldn't find a good summary video of Carol Adams, the author of 'The Sexual Politics of Meat:A Feminist-Vegetarian Critical Theory', giving an address as Oxford University - and believe me it really does need summarising.

But Leo came through with a comedic narrative so I'm just going to have to use his content again.

A quick precis:
Arrow a white supremacist patriarchal world view.
Arrow sexual politics of meat.
Arrow new colonialism.
Arrow your hamburger comes with a dose of misogyny.
Arrow feminine and weak rice eating countries.
Arrow the assumption that the best protein comes from corpses is a racist belief.
Arrow 9/11 (yes, really).
Arrow soyboiz.
Arrow Neo-N-word messaging (even the students laugh).
Arrow sexy cows.
Arrow a world still committed to gender binary.
Arrow never seen a meat eater leap into the road to save a carrot.
Arrow our whiteness is part of the problem of meat eating... it really is.

All I can say is, wow, and lord help the next generation.

What the actual fuck?

Boris Johnson wrote:
I don't think biological males should be competing in female sporting events. Maybe that's a controversial thing to say, but it just seems to me to be sensible.

I also happen to think that women should have spaces - whether it's in hospitals, prison or changing rooms - which are dedicated to women. That's as far as my thinking has developed on this issue.

If that puts me in conflict with some others, then we have got to work it all out. It doesn't mean I'm not immensely sympathetic to people who want to change gender, to transition and it's vital we give people the maximum love and support in making those decisions.

These are complex issues and they can't be solved with one swift, easy piece of legislation. It takes a lot of thought to get this right.

How the fuck did he get this past the wife?!

Put here for no other reason than it involves whining....

Samsung apologises for advert showing woman running alone at 2am

The advert has been criticised by some women's running groups and safety campaigners for being "unrealistic".

It's an advert ladies. Nothing else. Perhaps we shouldn't have adverts of women driving, that's dangerous Wink . Or in a pub where there drinks could get spiked or in a park where they could be bitten by a dog or hit by an asteroid.

FFS get a grip.

I must admit when I first saw the ad I thought it was ridiculous but then ads showing cars speedily wizzing around city streets are just as ridiculous as its advert world.

Adverts are 30 second idealised stories. Samsung missed a trick and should have gone with "this is the way the world could be if we all treated each other with more respect [and bought more Samsung products]. Samsung is as committed to hope and optimism as it is equity and diversity."

Imagine paying near £10k a year to learn how to become a midwife only to be taught how to look after a geezer's scrotum as you catheter up the 'birthing person'.

Ads are more like propaganda. Do you remember a couple of Christmas's back Currys ran a campaign apparently showing their shop staff testing tech in their own homes. According to the ad currys staff all lived in nice spacious houses in lovely leafy middle class neighborhoods. Im pretty sure on a retail workers wages even with the odd sales bonus nobody can afford the lifestyles in the ad.

Of course in the Metaverse we will all eventually live in that world. Its scary s#1t.

Two stories heavily pushing "The Message"

Science Museum: Uncovering queer stories to inspire new trailblazers

A tiresome article that confuses "Queer" and "Homosexual" but what would one expect from ppl who believe "the personal is political" Rolling Eyes

And then there's this:

Arthur Hughes: First disabled Richard III is 'big gesture' from RSC

tl;dr Raspberry Ripple plays Richard III. And best of luck to him! Nothing wrong with adding authenticity to a part. Of course we have to suffer a diatribe on Othello - in essence "Blackface is bad, m'kay" - but no mention of Anne Boleyn though Thinking

Acting = bad. It's all personal appropriation. Only Richard III should be allowed to play Richard III.

Depends on who does it. If you're part of "The Religion" it's ok, hence Trudeau getting a pass.

Robert The Bruce was a Transexual, he wore a skirt, make up and got angry at White English Males. I rest my case.

I am offended by the inclusive rainbow flag which is being posted about all over the place at the moment.

It totally misrepresents the realities of the electromagnetic spectrum and is an offence to physics.

I have made a revised version which I find much more acceptable.

Original on the left, new version on the right.

The inclusion of a white stripe in the spectrum also causes me offence. There shoudl really be a black one top and bottom. This would be a more acceptable version still:

Posie Parker at Bristol's "speakers corner"

https://youtu.be/6wOf0RtF-TQ

You don't need to sit through all 2 hours, the first 10 mins is quite amusing. "Oh look at 'em, in their black masks so their mum doesn't see them..."

Given the cowards in Antifa like to go out in "black bloc" surely it'd be possible to slip into their rabble. Hoisting a placard with "Proud to be a Useful Idiot" would be amusing.
