Samsung apologises for advert showing woman running alone at 2am
The advert has been criticised by some women's running groups and safety campaigners for being "unrealistic".
It's an advert ladies. Nothing else. Perhaps we shouldn't have adverts of women driving, that's dangerous  . Or in a pub where there drinks could get spiked or in a park where they could be bitten by a dog or hit by an asteroid.

I must admit when I first saw the ad I thought it was ridiculous but then ads showing cars speedily wizzing around city streets are just as ridiculous as its advert world. |

Adverts are 30 second idealised stories. Samsung missed a trick and should have gone with "this is the way the world could be if we all treated each other with more respect [and bought more Samsung products]. Samsung is as committed to hope and optimism as it is equity and diversity."
