Neat idea - fan oven to boot.. Any clue how hot it got in there? |
thanks lad got up to 105 c / 225 f hot enough just left it in longer paint says 200 c for half an hour so just left it for and hour was surprised how hot it got and stayed hot for a good hour after |

so new bolts came for the crank and magneto cases still waiting on the new gaskets and other bolts.
So decided to put the cylinder head on and the magneto cover just as a trial, well pleased with the results turning out just how i imagined.
Also decided to send the rest of the cylinder heads and engine cover of to be vapor blasted i know the idea was to do it myself but getting in between the fins would break any man.
Still have to polish the fins and paint them when i get them back so still a good bit to do.
