Bike trailer

Hi all,

I'm buying a bike that needs to be trailered home (from France to UK...).

Does anyone have a good tip for places in London to add a towbar to a 2009 Vauxhall Zafira B and where to rent a safe bike trailer from?

I could also just rent a van...

Van. They usually charge by length for ferry crossings.

Renting a van may prove awkward. Many companies don’t like / won’t allow foreign use....
won’t you need a tow bar fitting anyhow for future use? Failing that, Have you got a friend with a car and tow bar who fancies a bit of a road trip?

You realise there'll currently be a 14 day quarantine in both directions, right?

In ordinary circumstances I could lend you my trailer, but I don't think it's going to happen right now.

The 14 day won't start for another week yet? French side is voluntary too. I'd say grab a van and go.

Yes, quarantine doesn't start until 8 June so there's plenty of time to get there and back. Anyone know of a place in London I can rent a trailer from? Or does anyone here have one I could rent / borrow for a few days? Thanks!
