Hello there,
i managed to pull a XLR250R out of the grave and chasing a new kick start leaver and fuel tank for it, the one ive got.... well.... is as pretty as the predators face.
the model is a 95 XLR250R, shes only got 9,000km on it so im wanting to try continue its life for a little more.

main thing im trying to figure out without having to spend $200+ is if there are any kick starts that will fit off other models like the CRF etc
and a fuel tank. the metal one is rusted and looks like vegemite on the inside. anything from other models that will fit?

Did we even have the XLR250R in the UK?

I’m from Australia and I believe these models where Africa and other regions around that area based. Some items are shared from the xr250 but some just don’t work. Really struggling to get this back running, I may have managed to repair the metal tank but would easily replace it for a plastic, and I will probably have to Frankenstein a kick start.

Bottom end is the same as the xr250. Ergo kickstart should fit.

Just dropped an order in. From what I’ve been told there is a weird spline/diameter and bother aftermarket fits.

Should be arriving tomorrow and fingers crossed no problems.
