Two weeks to the day after taking delivery of my Lexmoto Isca I've actually been out on it. Those who read my first thread will remember I had managed to slice a finger open half an hour before it arrived and it has been heavily strapped since. I had the dressing changed yesterday (Would have been removed completely but for signs of a slight infection which means a week of antibiotics). However, I can bend the finger again though I still can't get a glove on.
This afternoon I decided to give it a short local run, so dressed in the full safety gear of shorts, T-shirt and open face lid (I know, I know) I gave it a five mile jaunt round the quiet lanes near the village. Nice little bike to ride, comfortable, light and easy to control, though after six years away from bikes I rode like a nervous old woman, though the confidence was rising all the time. Hard to believe that not so long ago a 300 mile two up trip was par for the course and I was escorting cycle races on occasions too. A 125 would not do much for most experienced bikers and I would have once turned my nose up at one, but I'm no youngster anymore and for the type of riding I intend doing it will be perfect. I live near the Pembrokeshire coast, well away from M/ways and duel carriageways so a little B road blaster will suit me (And my pocket) down to the ground.
Anyway, it's great to be back! |

Sounds ideal, you say that about experienced riders and 125's, but, no matter how many I sell on, ultimately I always end up adding a 125 to the collection. This it's to be a Keeway Superlight, in red, red goes faster you know !
Anyhow, for you, sounds like a result, make the most of the weather now ____________________ Beware what photos you upload, or link to on here, especially if you have family members on them |
