Looking for some advice please:

It occurred to me that I haven't adjusted my suspension on my bike since I got it, tyres were on 30psi front and 35psi on the back and all I've done is maintain those pressures since I got it.

Just wondering is that the correct pressure for my bike?

Also, anyone who has or had an FZ1 at some point can you tell me please how to adjust the suspension to set it up properly for my weight and riding style? I can see a ring at the top of the rear spring that looks like it's adjustable but I'm not sure which way to turn it to make it harder or softer. Is there anything else on the rear suspension that is adjustable?

And what about the front? Is this adjustable? If so, how? And is it just adjustable in one area or are there a couple of different points to adjust it at?

Sorry for all the questions but they don't do a Haynes manual for this bike :-/

Stock pressures will be closer to 36 front and 42 rear. I’ve always found 34/38 to be the sweet spot but YMMV.

For suspension setup, there’s a good article here for setting things up. It’s a lot easier if you’ve got someone with a tape measure with you to help.

Found this online, might be a good baseline....

Front:
Pre-load 4 bands
Compression: 9-10 clicks out from full hard
Rebound: 14-15 clicks out from full hard

Rear:
Pre-load: 3-4
Rebound: 6 clicks out from full hard

Set the preload based on the sag findings from the first link I posted though.
