Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows if the 2018 Honda CB125R is restricted via the CDI/ECU or just lacs the power needed for going any faster?

If it's restricted via the CDI/ECU does anyone know where I can get myself an unrestricted one/un-restrict it myself?

How fast are you expecting it to go?

"Hey" it should be able to do 80 on a good day with your snout pressed onto the speedo to minimise drag.

You could big-bore it but that would cost you. You could also buy a CB1000RR and swap the number plate. However, I would stick with what you have, and keep it as it is, which is pretty good, and buy something bigger when you've passed your test, if you need to.

DON'T FORGET TO CHECK YOUR OIL AT THE CORRECT INTERVALS, FILL IT UP, AND CHANGE WHEN OR BEFORE NEEDED.

That last BIT is often forgootten, leading to disaster. Seriously! Smile
