Gilera DNA 50 Help

Hi All, Not been on here since i had my CB125TDE but i am really lost here.

I have rebuild the engine on my friends little lads first motorbike, he got it cheap and i went overboard and replaced everything form the crank bearings up.

I have come to put the Roller/Variator on now, and i cant deicide if there should be a spacer between the oil pump drive gear, and the roller/Variator bushing?

Please help, this is the last thing thats holding me up, he wants it finished tomorrow and i really dont want to let him down

I can answer your specific question, but if so remember correctly the DNA 50 uses the same engine as the runner 50 of that era, if that's the case you can see the Haynes manual here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1014411/Gilera-Runner-50-1997.html?page=3#manual

yes, i have found whats been throwing me, the oil pump belt drive gear is labeled as a spacer... so the drive gear goes on, then the back plate for the variator/roller housing, then the fan and nut.. Im pretty sure thats how it goes.
