Cheers guys,

I actually did pick up 3 minors:

Managed to stall the bike for the first time ever! Recovered well and carried on.

Passed some parked cars a little too close, there was traffic approaching but apparently I had time to have taken the pass wider and tuck in at the end.

One of the roundabouts my line was a bit wide on the exit.

But a pass is a pass Very Happy

LOL, I just moved from there myself. I used to live on Green Lane between Valence Ave and Ilford. Now living in a village in Wiltshire. I've got some lovely country rides planned for the spring.

I lived in Bennetts Castle Lane for many years. I know your patch well, my most often used local shops were in Green Lane.
Many years ago I worked at the Council depot in Valence Avenue next to the library.

very good, i have only been out once so far this year iirc, did a little trip to Castleton, even with heated grips my hands were purple when we got there, also made the mistake of wearing my jeans rather than my textile trousers, but was a very nice ride really enjoyed it
