I know something happened, but I don't know what.

And I don't understand why it's not okay to talk about something that already has its own public internet presence, advertising, products for sale and public reviews.

???

Turns out not all publicity is good publicity.

Also, faced with the paranoia of not-a-real-man clearly used to spending vast amounts of time and money on lost causes, Korn must have decided it was better for all concerned if we backed away slowly and calmly. No sense in ruining Aarons after keeping lawyers in champagne and caviar for years.

It seems to have died anyway.

Now end of thread.
(Or is it?)

Seems a bit absurd to me. What if a new user joins and wants to ask about it? How and why is this website in particular given special status compared something like facebook or twitter which has thousands of voices which could never be silenced in a similar way?

And hasn't it been about 3 years since all of that (whatever is was) happened?

Well... for the sake of not opening up a can of litigation worms, I won't ask any more about that.

On the plus side 'Nobwipe' is still in development and I expect to have it in full production in, say, 5 years.

Send me three fiddy of your English pounds and I'll reserve one for you.

No point, it's been on pre-order forever... People can work it out without consulting us old forum fuddy-duddies. We're old hat now, dontchaknow. The Kidz these days are all on Tiktok or Houseparty or something.

I imagine simply for practical reasons, because the sheer level of 'material' emanating from BCF presumably vastly outweighed FB or Twitter and was correctly identified as a source which would cave to legal threats, specifically because of its small size and lack of resources. But everything is conjecture, as nothing has ever actually been said beyond 'cease and desist or else'. And there's no doubt that several prominent, long-standing, vocal, forum members simply vanished without trace at that time[/quote]

Indeed.

Was alpha-9 embroiled in the drizzle buddy fiasco too? He seems notable by his absence. Checking his profile it seems he stopped posting in April 2017.

On a completely related note...

There are at least 3 posters who took something of a step back form the forum. I have an idea that they may have created new account and are now posting under a different name. I don't want to dig into it too far though, because aforementioned.

Short answer: Because Korn says so and it's his forum.

It was Korn who stepped in a shitcanned the threads, presumably because they were getting way beyond childish, certainly bullying and into the realms of litiginous.

Clearly that's not true because we all know that Korn is only an outdated human construct that society is now rejecting in favour of science.

The two were supposed to have been embodied in one, but obviously that's the stuff of fairy tales. Such served their purpose, but times change, the narrative must move on. One can't keep insisting on creator myths in the absence of empirical data.

Yep. Should be out later this year. I’m not allowed to say a great deal. But he’s fine.

He isn't actually a Scouser, although he does reside in that Slave traders emporium.
