I'm still at work so it's an 04:50 bastirt alarm for me.
I'm 2hrs ahead of UK clocks.

I imagine that many folk observing COVID stuff will be lying in a bit longer if not going to work or working from home.

Working from home now, start at 8am. I get an extra half hour in bed, since my commute is now approximately 45 seconds.

07.30 when the dog puts his nose in my ear, as always.

I'm thinking of getting a false ear just for lie-ins.

We had a lab who would run up the stairs and pounce on top of any one that was still in their bed.
I think my dad trained him to do that. 🙄

About 7:30-8:00, spot of rumpy pumpy with Mrs Bastard, up till about 8:30, 15 minutes recovery time and then get up for work.

I get up same time as pre-Ebola (0600), but working from home that gives me an extra hour in the morning to do whatever I want. I like this new found time.

I have been known to wander into either office, averagely at 9.40am grasping a cup of coffee and peanut butter on toast.

If it's the office in Chelsea then I have on proper clothes including armoured brassiere - but am likely to need a couple of swigs of RedBull just to mitigate the tediousness of commuting and to jumpstart me back into life ... but if its "the office" in Docklands, I might be wearing a vest and knickers ... fluffy slippers if they are lucky. Slovenlykat is v.slovenly indeed, and will only have rolled out of her pit at around 9.38am.

Am riding in tomorrow.
So I will be in Urban Warrior Princess Queen Mum mode.

Am already looking forward to filtering like a motherfucker.
Oh yeahhhhh Cool

I could, in theory, have another 15 minutes in bed on the days i'm based at home not the office.

I don't though. I sit and have a nice cup of tea and have a look at what you lot have been up to while i was in bed.

Or in Nobby's case, what he has been up to in bed.

While on furlough it was around 7.30 to 8.00 but now I'm back on shift work so the early 5am starts have been a shocker.

Probably go full on preying mantis.

As late as reasonably possible when I'm at home. Usually about 0900 when wifie starts screaming for her coffee.

When on the boat? Early, dawnish as I never put the window covers in and watching the sunrise and the wildlife while having a cup of tea on my own with nature is one of the remaining pleasures in life.

Then I go back in the boat and have a ̶w̶a̶n̶k̶ dribble over Holly Willoughby.

Life is good!

5.00am - working from home since early March but it makes no difference. Wake up when the sun gets up along with the birds.

Alarm is something i wait an hour to switch off - set for 6 in the blind hope that one day i sleep long enough to need it.
