Hi guys bought the above bike privately, guy i bought it off has "streetfightered" it, looks pretty good to be fair to him
However one thing he hasn't touched yet is wiring in the aftermarket front fairing which includes headlight and indicators in it, and the rear tail light.
I have someone who can help me if i am really stuck, but my question is
On the aftermarket front fairing there are 4 lamps. 2 x headlight, and obviously 2x indicator. Indicator wires are green and black left hand, green and orange right hand
Headlight are both green, blue, and white. So as every lamp has a green wire attached that would be the ground wire right? Ages since i did electrical work
Existing loom has similar but instead of green, the wire is black with yellow stripe. So obviously green goes to black with yellow stripe for each lamp and then find the accompanying wire to make the lamp work properly.
With aftermarket parts, do they generally use the same colour wire for live or ground, and if so, what does it tend to be? |
