Only eat-in

Does not apply to service charge
VAT is calculated on the pre-discount value (i.e. the gross price)

AFAIK there is no EPOS system in existence that could do all of those things simultaneously. And then people change their minds so things get added and removed from a bill and all the calculations start again! Have a care for us poor programmers who have to implement the government's largess

I’d love the challenge.

I started 24 years ago at my firm and I was pretty much a full time programmer, in Vb, CL and Cobol. Now I’ll be lucky if I spend 1 day a year coding.

I miss it, but I don’t want to move jobs as it’s soooooooo close to home.
