Apparently the copper was a bit pissed off with his attitude and has done him for everything he could, no licence, insurance, MOT or tax. Speeding at 40mph in a 30 zone and Road Traffic Act (construction and use) breaches.

The cop was probably pissed off that the kid actually stopped rather than immediately fucking off across the fields never to be seen again.

But no, for some strange reason he stopped and that meant the cop, who was already running late for clocking off early, had to fill out paperwork at the side of the road and there'll be even more paperwork to fill out for when it goes to court.

As the kid couldn't figure out that you're not meant to stop for the police if you're on a dirt bike in the countryside then it's probably for the best that he'll be cycling or taking the bike for quite some time. Laughing

Fuck right off. You've got the whole politics section to be your right wing echo chamber.

Leave it out of the rest of the forum.

Essentially, not always is honesty the best policy.

Teenager who gave the police lip riding with no license, insurance, tax, mot and speeding in a 30, totting will take him to 15 points and of course when he ends up in court from the sound of him he will be a bit of a plum there too..

Revocation of his car license imminent and quite rightly too, wouldn't be surprised if an extended retest is ordered.

Everything the courts dish out will be insignificant compared to the bum fucking he gets from insurers for the next five years.

Actually the points will be concurrent so although he may have to report a lot of points only the largest penalty of the various offences will count for totting up.

As the largest is going to be 6 points hes still going to have his license revoked.

Quick update on this, twattish nephew has received court summons for:
Exceeding statutory speed limit on a public road (SP30)
Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence (LC20)
Using a vehicle uninsured against third party risks (IN10)
Causing or likely to cause danger by reason of use of unsuitable vehicle or using a vehicle with parts or accessories (excluding brakes, steering or tyres) in a dangerous condition (CU20)
Using a vehicle on the road for which no valid test certificate is in effect.

He has not received any summons for no tax. Probably because the bike is not registered for road use so doesn't exist as far as the DVLA is concerned. He is due to appear before Dorchester Magistrates court at the end of September. What has really upset him is that his 2 year probation period ends at the beginning of November. Looks like he can kiss goodbye to his licence now. It is his birthday soon, I may buy him a pushbike.

Hopefully he will turn up at court and show remorse.
Otherwise you may wish to switch that present from a push bike to soap on a rope.

Is the bike still seized and clocking up storage fees?

He might be using a different dirt bike field bike rather than cycling or using public transport.

I assume so, as far as I am aware he hasn't got it back. I don't think he is going to be riding anything other than a push bike for quite some time yet.

He won't be able to get the bike back anyway, as you need to show insurance to release a bike from the pound. As its an off-road bike you won't even be able to buy it.

Tell him to sell his car now to pay the fine and buy the bike!

Cu20 alone is going to rape his insurance...

Give it 10 years he might be grown up and be able to afford insurance then

5 at worst and he's completely clean and 24 plus years old. Bit dramatic.

It could be insured using the frame number.

Then someone with a full license could get it back.

I was going to offer five ponds for it, trusting / hoping I can insure it on the frame number and get it released. However, the o p lives in Poole and presumably that’s where his family and the bike are. Nah, can’t be bothered!

Really? Not having a licence/MOT/insurance didn't stop him before. Is he repentant or is he pissed off?

Not sure about repentant, more afraid of the wrath of dad, who is really pissed off about him getting a ban as it means that he will have to hire someone to help around the farm if he can't drive anywhere other than around the yard or in the fields. He won't even be able to drive between the fields and the farm.
