No offence but I'm not going to post an outside view of my garage. I've had people break into previous garages because they saw what was inside. I'm very careful not to post stuff like this, and I figured an interior shot was good enough. If it's not good enough, then... meh.

No offence... Meh.

Ah. An integrated garage.

I think attached not integrated? That backroom was originally garage, there is a door there but it leads to garden. The floor levels of Garage and house are very different so I don't think there is any cheap win if wanting to integrate it.

I thought a house with a built-in garage was "integrated". However I am not an estate agent!

That's the one. I bought it for the wife as her Geography is so bad she struggles to even list parts of her own home nation. She left it rolled up for years and after a game flame darts, (darts + zippo fluid) I needed something to cover the marks.

Mine is for the opposite. The wall's OK, but the map has a hole in it, off the coast of Chile, from an experiment involving a plastic propeller. Smile What larks!

Ah, sorry for the little joke in the original post. On another thread I mused that if we started a shed thread should it include garages...

To be clear I wouldn't want anyone to post anything that would compromise security. With regards to garages I'd guess only the contents, shelving systems, maybe an elaborate door... that would be interesting. Sheds can be all this plus the construction and general maintenance.

One of my sheds (it's full of bits of fairings and bits, ramps, bottles for apple juice, kites, jars, roofing felt, timber and a rotavator, I can't get into it) has developed an annoying lean. Some time I will have to empty it, and screw a sheet of ply or something onto the ribs to hold it more upright. There is a "bracing" construction tip! Smile

That is odd-looking felt. Is it this new self-adhesive stuff? Nice floor! You will have to purchase a dustpan, and a brush Smile

I guess there are worse views.
Only temporary, moving house soon so can get a proper setup. What do people recommend for garage flooring on top of concrete?

Temporary I use these (I say temporary it's been 2 years almost). If you check out the price of brand new or actual automotive ones these are a bargain https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Heavy-Duty-3-x-5x3-Dirt-Trapper-Mats-Home-Garden-Sheds-Stables-Dog-Kennels-/222545750789?hash=item33d0c2ab05

Long term I want to tile because it looks awesome and I can live with the negatives. Mechanic I know has just extended his home workshop and used one of those pour on kind of floors that dries hard (as in factories and workshops), he swears by that and says the floor will outlive him. He's an old unhealthy fucker though so that maybe a weak boast Laughing

These are good to make kneeling or lying on concrete easier and only £10/pack

I sealed mine with epoxy paint. It wasn't cheap but it's hard wearing. I think next time I'd pay someone to do it as it was incredibly stressful (goes off in 10 minutes). Sidestands also scratch it a bit which is a little disappointing, but overall I'm happy with it.

I've had a plan for years to build a geodesic dome shed out of panels of PU foam insulation. I've got as far as making an angle cutting template. The plan was construct a meter high base wall from wood then put the done on top. Each panel would be glued together and then the whole thing covered with roof felt tiled over it. For other geodesic fantasists https://geo-dome.co.uk/article.asp?uname=calculation

It's the stupid plastic windows. I'd have preferred they'd said "here's a mounting kit, buy some glass cut to this size..." but no, it's an all-in shed. They look worse in photos, TBH.

I don't mean the swirly green reflection, zoom in closer. It's haunted for sure, why do you think it was cheap.

Could be reflection of the stalker hiding in a bush.

Lined the wall cavities today with some bubble wrap, got 3mm hardboard sheets for the walls. Probably haven't bought enough hardboard but it's cheap to get it delivered.

Mmm, hardboard. Round headed screws to fix, inch by 8 or 10? Perhaps a sheet of bubble wrap or DPM under as a vapour barrier on the warm side?

My shed's about the size of an Alcatraz punishment cell, but it's made of foot thick concrete (WWII shelter I suspect). So I'm stuck with it, unless anyone knows where I can buy something that fires depleted uranium shells.

My garage is top top secret!
Anyone who sees my garage , I have to kill Shocked !

It’s a nice big garage , enough for two cars ish?
It’s so full of junk that my actual working space is about the size of a phone booth Thinking Doh! .

I’ve definitely made a boo-boo, accumulating junk I might only ever need once in my life and hanging on to ‘stuff’ because it might come in handy one day.
