Since the start of covid 19 I've been praying in that church from about lunchtime every day.

I'm especially pious on Sunday and attend church (well, the pub) at about 11.00nam.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Oh that sounds like the one I've recently been attending myself Laughing

I pray for the soul of St Sauvignan Blanc of Marlborough on occasion.

A nice merlot miracle at Lourdes goes down very pleasantly of an evening with a decent chili con carne.

That makes my garage a holy site. It is full of all the '20 for a tenner' Bud boxes my Mrs, kids and I have drunk since this COVID lark began.

I like the idea that various religions came about from the use of psychedelics. Let's face it, you'd have to be on something pretty powerful to come up with some that stuff Laughing

Favourite parts?

a) The Johnny Walker miniature hanging from his Mitre hat.

b) The fact he's made himself Pope - straight to the top, none of this Arch-bishop, Cardinal nonsense. No Sir.

When we die, we go before a panel of judges; Richard Feynman, Stephen Hawking, Max Planck, Niels Bohr etc. On the throne sits Albert Einstein who will decide our fate in the Black Hole of Eternity, based on the answers we give to the panel's inquisition. If we have been sufficiently faithful to science, we will know nothing about this, and will just end up dead, gone. If not, we will forever face the punishment of sitting before a whiteboard having string theory explained to us. Over. And over. And over. And over... Shocked

Why fortunately? Aside from the fact that there's no such thing as a skyfairy* churches are full of self righteous prudes.

I generally ask any religiousists who are getting snooty and judgemental about drinking alcohol what Jesus' first miracle was...

I chinned an Aerab Zlamyst about the very same thing.

That 'fcuking edjit/raving fcuking lunatic' had the answer.
It was non-alcoholic wine Jesus made from the water. 🙄

Fcuking Twattery of Biblical Proportions.

Although to quote Terry Pratchett:
"As if the turning of sunlight into wine, by means of vines and grapes and time and enzymes, wasn't a thousand times more impressive and happened all the time."

There’s also a man who does this with his gut. He was getting into trouble because he was wasted behind the wheel but hadn’t drank anything.
