2005 fz6 luggage arms / too box issue

So I bought givi monorack arms for my fz6 as they were what I could find that was compatible with my model. I also purchased a budget 'tektake' large box with "universal" plate thinking I'd save a bit of cash. Now I've realised the universal plate doesn't fit the arms.. Thumbs Down

I've had the box and arms too long to return either. Does anybody know if there's a way I could purchase just another plate that'd fit the arms and the box? Or know of a solution that wouldn't involve spending top dollar on givi monorack products?

Purchase the givi plate and throw the box on ebay? Givi top boxes are reasonably priced second hand to be honest.
