If you need bread to finish a roast then the roast was too small. TSK is correct on this one. Although Id never turn down an extra roastie, yorkshire or stuffing.

For other foods, a warm crusty buttered roll is acceptable. Bread is for toothless peasants.

Buttered bread on plate, couple of fried eggs on it, can of tinned tomatoes over the top, brown or Worcestershire sauce. Extra bread and butter for moppage afterwards.
