Hi all. I have recently replaced both my spark plug and wire but I'm still not getting any spark. While looking for possible problems, I noticed that the power wire from the CDI to the ignition coil was carrying a little over 15 volts. I tested other wires but they were carrying the normal 12 volts. This might be a silly question but is there a reason why the wire is carrying 15 volts or is that where my problem is coming from?

The first thing you should do is quote make, model and year.
