Not really worried about it but....

The other day i had the forks off, changed the seals, cleaned em up a bit put em back together....

The thing is.... part 4 is not there... (it was DEFENATELY not there before i opened em up by the way Razz )

do i risk buggering the springs up? its been like it as far as i know the entire time iv'e owned it...

Its handleing the same as ever

is it worth worrying about? i could get a replacement one... not doing that lot again till i need to tho Razz

I wouldn't worry too much, but if one fork has it and the other doesn't, its worth getting one so the internal bits are the same length.

Excelent, like i said just wanted to be sure really... i'll try and get a replacement one somehow, as far as i know they are a standard honda part, shouldn't be hard to get...

It might acount for the noticable conernering wobble ive had recently, i think i'll see how much mrhonda wants for it, should be good for a laugh... but i'll leave it for the next seal change...

thanks for that Thumbs Up

Hi

It should be easy to replace that part without disturbing the seals.

I doubt it will have any real effect on handling, probably less than using a different make of mirror.

All the best

Keith
