Hi All,

Mentioned in a previous post that my bike was stolen the other week.

I'm looking for some advice, the bike was stolen and I recovered it. It was taken for inspection on Friday.

Purely hypothetical..
I sold and bought a car on the weekend and need to inform insurance (had 5 days cover thrown in when purchasing) and just wondered when they ask about claims, do I need to mention this as nothing has been agreed with my stolen bike? I appreciate I'd need to declare this once I know what's happened with the claim.

My bike policy came to an end just after it was stolen and I have received my NCB but there was a fault against me for £10k (even though the policy for the bike stated the value at £3.3k), I kicked off about that and it's been amended.
