Considering re-using some of my (quite cool looking) retro kitchen units..
They are white* MFC with extruded aluminium handles running the width of the doors. Anyone has success in painting melamine? Tips?
* some are still white several are now a little 'mottled'. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750, SL1000

Well yes I guess so.. The white surface are mottled some bleed through. I wouldn't bother but i like the retro look of the full width aluminium handle.. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750, SL1000

One of my neighbours did this and told me they had to dry with a hot air gun where the wrap stuck properly to the surface of the door and the slightly rough surface was retained. Looked ok! |
Good call I did also spot that option - there's some lurid coloured stuff on Amazon.. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750, SL1000
