In days of old you could just rock up to a motorcycle shop and try stuff on before shelling out some cash. Now, I struggle to even see a place that stocks leathers, and because they're nowhere, there are hardly any deals on.

Where do people actually buy leathers now?

Sportsbikeshop have actual premises now in a few locations, Infinity motorcycles and J+S accessories.

All of those places do leathers. There isn't much choice these days though, ARMA and RST are the value brands. Even the quality brands aren't as good as the former made to measure companies like Crowtree and Buffalo etc it seems.

Is trying clothing on even encouraged in this Covid paranoid world? I wouldn’t entertain buying without trying but equally I’m not sure many people would want to try a set on that could have been coughed and sneezed into by gawd knows who previously...

Onyerbike, Aylesbury.

Bike Stop, Stevenage.

Harpers, Leigh-On-Sea. (I've only mail-ordered Wolf leathers from Harpers but I think they're a walk-in and try sort of place.)
