Looking closer at the proud boys Latino leader it comes to light there's quite a lot of right wing Latinos in the states, even far right as well because of all the fascist regimes the US supported in central and south America over the last century. I'd missed that angle.

Also, anyone else think The Proud Boys sounds a bit like something from a William Burroughs novel?

Watching a video yesterday where a conservative guy goes out into a Democrat city and asks people on the street if Trump is this, that, the other; one of which was is he homophobic and everyone said yes, of course he is. Based on what evidence he asked? They said 'well, you know, like, err, things he says, and err, you know, like, how he acts'. What specifically? Err, you know, like, stuff.

Meanwhile, Trump lobbies the UN to overthrow laws on homosexuality in other countries and the screechers screech about how he's 'rolled back' LGBT rights in the USA - how you might ask? He's cut funding for AIDS and HIV research..... Oh right, didn't realise it only affected gay and trans people Rolling Eyes

Oh and he didn't challenge Brazil's president on the issue. Well, there you go folks, proof positive.

Latterly in the video they had pictures of 5 famous people and asked them to line up from evil to good - one of them was Jesus, one of them was Trump, one was Hitler. There were people that genuinely believe Trump is worse than Hitler and when questioned they said it's because he's a racist homophobic blah blah, and couldn't summon up a single shred of evidence to back that claim up. Some of them didn't even know Hitler killed millions of people. Sat watching in disbelief.

It doesn't matter what slanging is carried out by either side, people who seriously look can see what is happening. Strip away all the conspiracies, partisanship and one-sided reporting, and the right don't always look great, but the left has gone off the reservation.

Probably, the armed on both sides will do more damage to themselves though. A trained military would crush them all in the blink of an eye. This conflict is not going to be won or lost by force of arms.

How has it gone when you've used the freeman of the land defence?

I wouldn't try it myself because I've never seen anything to suggest that it's been of any benefit to the freeman of the land person and IMO it doesn't help with passing the attitude test.

So yeah, how has it worked for you?

Really? Is the man not enough of a liability already that we need to make up stories about his dislike of pets?!
