Hi all,
I need help with timing my mv50 m2.
I need to know how to set the stator plate after having to replace it, set up the points.
As usual, the Haynes Manuel is rather vague

Puch mv50 m2?? Shocked
2stroke?
I would remove the spark plug and insert a wooden dowel in the hole and rotate the engine running wise and feel the piston when at the top of its stroke, then rotate backwards 12degrees (2minutes of a clock) and watch the points just open for a short while or close for a short while.

There are three Puch groups on Facebook - Puch mopeds, Tuning Puch mopeds and Puch mopeds for sale. Lots of information and helpful contributions Timing pops up every few days .
