Was doing a coolant change on my bike so I had to lift the tank and take some panelling of to get at it.
I Noticed some rusty spots on the underside of my tank and was wondering what the best way to deal with this is? As it's on the underside of the tank is there some sort of rust inhibitor I can just paint on without having to drain the tank and take the whole thing off or is that just wishful thinking ?

Very common. Either slow it down with some form of rust blocker. Or, sand, use rust converter, anti rust primer/hammerite.

It's a GSR600 2008 the spots aren't bad but they do cover a large area of the bottom of the tank I'll assume it's condensation that's caused it.

I'll get some pictures after work

Yep, condensation trap, some with foam padding can be quite bad for it. Ive lightly sanded and painted one of mine, and just generous amounts of XCP/ACF wiped on the others.
