 |
|
So I have a Givi monolock top box which I have had for years and has sat in the garage on a shelf forever . I now want to refit it but I have no idea where the keys are, I have searched everywhere. Any suggestions on how to fix this? is it possible to pick them open?
Can I just drill it out and but a new lockset? |

You can probably do it with two paperclips in less than a minute.... Use one paperclip to apply some torque to the lock, and the end of one straightened out to rake the pins.

I think the Givi key is a double sided/wafer type, mine is.
so a slightly different technique is required
This may help
( first vid I found, there may well be other better ones)

I managed to open a locked Givi box by accident, I was parking my bike and backed it into a tree the force of pushing the box into the tree popped the whole thing open. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. Depends on the lock. My desk drawer in work has a double sided key but only one side of the lock actually has pins. ____________________ DILLIGAF |
