https://www.aphonda.co.th/honda2017/motorcycle/onoff/crf300rally

Google translate into english...

8hp more than previous 250, lighter, bigger fuel tank... is this finally the rally we all wanted? Will this be the new go-to bike for rtw adventure riding if it ever makes it way to the EU/UK (dual-sport adv riding, not European highways...)

---------

Also in the US there's new KLX 300, fuel-infected (small tank) but no data yet on hp, emissions, abs... so I doubt if it will be sold here...
And so far major disappointment from Kawa as everyone was anticipating the new KLR ehhh... but there's still hope maybe in January

It will sell, there will be trade offs compared to the less powerful 250L which has long service intervals and absurdly low running costs

I'm not impressed. It has a 153kg kerb weight, and less than 30hp.

My G650x that I did 10k miles on around South America, had 54hp and weighed 154kg, plus another 10kg for modifications. In Morocco the power was enough, limitations were elsewhere. In South America, it would have used more power.

You write like a spammer.

No, it's still far from perfect. Suspension is unchanged and IMO inadequate for long distance trips with luggage. I mean it functions but it's poor. Fine for commuting and cutting about without luggage of you're not too heavy.

I think it has merit as an adv bike, that's why I bought my 250, but it needs modding.
