Oh dear, because 46 weeks in prison wasn't enough. Mr. Green

https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/public-justice-offences-incorporating-charging-standard#_Toc536105690

"Escape/Breach of Prison
A person who, being in lawful custody either in prison or elsewhere on a criminal charge, escapes without the use of force commits the common law offence of Escape. Where any force is used, the common law offence of Breaking Prison should be considered. In this context, force can include damage to property such as locks or fences. For sentencing guidelines see: R v Coughtrey [1997] 2 Cr. App. R.(S) 269, CA."

R v Coughtrey [1997] can be seen on page 93 of https://www.sentencingcouncil.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/web_case_compendium.pdf

"If the offender is already serving a determinate sentence, a consecutive sentence should almost always be imposed."

Laughing What a stupid turd he is. Laughing

Moral fibre?

It makes a change from the usual story of the crook having a hard life being a victim of drugs and had just taken up rehab prior to sentencing,is starting a new job, has 17 kids to feed and so would the judge be nice enough to give him a low sentence.

He cracks me up. His head is somewhere else altogether... Reminds me of all those people who used to jump over turnstiles in train stations (in the 80s, in a certain European country). 90% of people... Couldn't blame a kid for joining in. Embarassed But then he's not 12 any more. Plus, the past is a different country, etc. The comments sections in the papers want to hang him. But his head is in a different place.
