Materially I got a nice selection of boutique IPAs and some high-end, hand-made chocolate. Oh, and a T-Shirt: "The Most Awesome Grandad" Smile

Spiritually I got a Christmas I didn't expect: a sense of ever-present family either through illicit, tier busting meetings* or through long phone calls to relatives.

Fuck you Covid, we still had fun!

*I don't care, are you gonna throw me in prison after the fact?

A food processor attachment for my kenwood major.

Also a ricoh action camera which promises to be drop-proof and waterproof... My previous casio and nikkon drop and waterproof cameras having been broken by being dropped and flooded respectively.

It must be said, the picture quality so far is excellent and it has almost microscope levels of macro ability. It also has a proper time-lapse function which is something I've been missing.

Found a good deal on a Casio CDP-S100. Thought it was time to finally treat myself to a full 88 key weighted hammer action jobby, and learn to play properly.

It was a case of if you can't beat them, join them. Bloody pianists with their left hands - "ooh, look at me, what do we need a bass player for?"

Agreed. I've been putting more time into the keys this year and would love a Yamaha upright....one day one day.

I love drums...started off on drums then switched to guitar which I adore and bass which it still very much on-going...I like the discipline and thoughtfulness in Bass but if I had to have only one instrument it'd be the piano.

Has it all.

A woolly bobbleless bobble hat. Rolling Eyes

Yes, I always wear hats.................

Fedoras, Trilbys. Panamas and even a Top hat at times but I have never ever worn a fcuking bobbleless bobble hat.

All hats are not the same. Evil or Very Mad

Nearly forgot. Mrs stinkwheel managed to find me two jars of white chocolate coated freeze dried blackcurrants.

These are one of my favourite things in the whole world, my usual supplier had stopped doing them and I'd been unable to find another source. Had been thinking I'd have to make my own in my dehydrator but dehydrated is not the same as freeze dried when it comes to blackcurrants.

It’s only a basic one, but happy Pepperami is happy Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

This ‘shag’ thing you talk about? I seem to have a dim and distant memory that it was quite nice?
Didn’t it also involve ladies?, it’s been so long I can’t remember Crying or Very sad !

You're quite right - too far from the coast to sample Phalacrocoracidae.

I'll just leave this here.
https://www.explore-new-zealand.com/nz-shags-cormorants.html

In NZ if you were found having your wicked way with a shag including duct tape, you'd probably be in an awful lot of trouble with their conservation/Forest & Bird peeps.

Nice choice, we went for a Roland FP-10 during April's lockdown. It was a real close call between the Roland and Casio, came down to the best deal we found at the time.

Enjoy Thumbs Up
