Oh, so it's not made by St Austell but by a different Cornish brewery. I'll try and remember.

Sharps Brewery - Rock (Wadebridge) owned by Molson since 2011, major product Doom Bar

St.Austell Brewery - St.Austell Smile owned by Bath Ales since 2016, major product Proper Job IPA

There are stacks of smaller brewers.

For distilleries I don't recall anything large scale but there's loads of little ppl doing rum (obviously) gin, vodka, brandy, etc.

As bad as it is - nothing is as shite as Smithwicks.. Luckily we didn't get it here but I had the misfortune to sample it in ROI a couple of times.
