How many of the general public know wd40 do brake cleaner? And of those go don’t, who is gonna notice under the person’s hand? Shocked

Agree, WD-40 is about as ubiquitous as saying Hoover instead of vacuum cleaner (Hoover also make all sorts of other stuff.)

But it's an American company so you shouldn't expect much sense from them Sad

Yeah, kind of similar scenario (but less dangerous) is Silkolene Pro-Cool coolant which comes in exactly the same distinctively shaped bottle as their fork oil - You really don't want these two bottles sitting side by side on your garage shelf when you are in the middle of replacing your coolant - they could have at least given them different coloured labels! . . .
