If I have to go replace the engine in my Honda
CB125T, 1981, which Honda engines from that era
would fit straight in?

To be honest, the best bit about the bike was the engine. any other engine would be putting a shitter engine in a pretty shit frame.

So a new to the bike engine due to expensive engine overhaul ?

There will be engineers out there for new big ends and valve guides etc..

Just keep looking as that bike has a 125 market ( not 140 big bore kit ) and is approaching tax and MOT exempt status.

Perhaps a chinki clone engine ? Or e bay...keep looking.

Any evidence of the piston hitting the head, a bright shiny alloy ring on piston crown due to b/end plus little end play ?

Hm. I've looked at some of ajb235's previous posts. His big ends are not what they were.

Isn't a new crankshaft expensive! Sick
