Hi all,

So as the title suggests, I'm a new/returning rider and looking to hop back on a geared 125cc motorbike. However, I live inside the current ULEZ/Congestion Charge restrictions and as costs are already bad enough for me living here, was seeking some advice on what motorbikes that comply with these restrictions would be lowest on my insurance.

I have 3 years NCB on motorbikes and 1 year NCB on cars, have held provisional since 2013 and full car licence since Nov 2017.

Appreciate any and all assistance!

Nothing in London will be cheap. 125's are loaded on premiums as young lads have a habit of spazzing them into street furniture, hedges, and other motorists. My VFR costs me less than my 125.

A YBR/YS or CG 125 will be solid, cheap-ish to insure, and have a decent resale when you pass your test and get something distinctly better.
