I used a water based gloss to paint the 'surrounds' of our front room.
Being smart, I opted for the paint that goes on coloured and dries white. Helps to show the first coat when a top coat is applied.
Panic set in on the 2nd day (48hrs after last coat).
Our surrounds were still pink.
Thing was that it was about this time of year and fairly damp so the paint was not drying fast.
It's dry, now after about 2 years 22-1/2 months.
So the initial drama over the colour was for nought.
