I'm very lucky, I've worked throughout.

I have a new dog and I've a garden room build on.

As for the pub, I've got used to not going.

I don’t go to the pubs when they are open, so it’s no hardship.

Listening to music, reading, working out, and continually promising myself I will restring the guitar and start playing again.
Started watching YouTube videos of rock and blues acts in the hope it might inspire me to do the latter. I feel on the cusp! I will get around to it! I will!
But I'll just listen to some more music for a while first.
Tsk, nearly bed time. I'll get back to the guitar tomorrow. Honest Shifty

atm watching billy "uncle bill dog" bolt's channel - he's funny, and his banter with tommy searle, ed and his mechanic stan is usually a good laugh

his riding is utterly mad, and it's good to see him crossing paths with graham jarvis, jonny walker and all the other big names

he gets everywhere, even in lock down - he's in kwazulu natal one week, roof of africa race, then he's testing in austria, next he's doing sea to sky in turkey, over to dubai, then mad social ride carnage in the welsh forests, with tommy destroying his new crf450 - the lad's everywhere, wreaking havoc like anyone else breathes air

I just sink deeper and deeper into my black hole and dissolve into an even more delusional disoriented state Sad Shocked .

I don't drink, haven't done since 2002. I do go out to pubs occasionally with the other half, but we haven't missed it that much if I'm honest. We usually stay in weekend evenings and watch movies and things anyway. What we miss is our regular activities such as my martial arts classes, and the other half plays in a band and is also a Brownie leader. It affects her more than it does me as I've always been happy to slob about at home.

I think actually returning to normal might be something of a culture shock.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I can't help with your query as I wasn't online because I was in the pub. Mr. Green

I go down my boat, drink rum (or Stella). I can put up with my own company but I'd much rather sit on my boat and just watch some family walk past enjoying life.

Also I miss watching kids playing. I havent seen the kids in our street out at all in the last year.

The whole thing is fucked up.

Seriously, though. I work for a hospital, so mostly I work from home, just typing letters etc., but because of that, I have to go into the office now and then to print and post them.
So its an escape from being indoors all the time.

Plus, I have an assortment of friends who live alone/in the countryside and who are unwell, so it requires that I check on them now and then. "Vulnerable elderly people"; I'm sure you know how it is, being one yourself.

And my only mode of transport currently is my motorsickle, as Bert Munroe would say.

The rest of the time, I just get wankered.
I'm not much of a pub-goer, never have been really.
