If you've bought a bike and the alarm is preventing you from starting it, there's something wrong with the alarm, or your keyfob, and you should contact whoever you purchased the bike from to get it sorted.
Nobody here will tell you how to circumvent an alarm, even if they knew, because for all we know you've just spotted this bike outside somewhere, had a chat with the owner to find out what alarm is fitted, and then come on here to try to find out how to get around it.
The kill switch is normally red and on the right hand handlebar, and must be in the "run" position, before the bike will start. ____________________ - CBT: 02/01/11 Theory: 26/04/11 Mod 1: 19/05/11 Mod 2: 19/08/11

The earlier cbr's dont have a kill switch, the battery's however are prone to going, what i'd recommend is bump starting it, see if that gets you anywhere. Many a time when ive had a flat battery it doesnt even make a slight turning over noise and just acts like the stand is on preventing it from starting. ____________________ Malaguti F12 Phantom-Dead, Suzuki AY50- Dead, NRG power DD LQ, CBR125.

Have you tried holding the starter motor in whilst pushing as hard as you can on the left footpeg?
Common fault iirc
