The health of people was NEVER the goal because there is NO money, NO power and NO control to be had out of that .. |
Just wanted to pick up on this as a point of note.
I agree the government don't purely have the populations health at heart. If they did then all products with refined sugar would be much more heavily taxed, to the point they are unaffordable, smoking would be banned as it benefits no-one apart from the manufacturers and retailers, alcohol would be banned due to the massive costs to police and healthcare resources, motorcycles would be banned etc.
However if the government did intervene in every nuance of everyone's lives (admittedly they arguably are at the moment), then I suspect that would be another thing for you to fight against. There needs to be a balance in what they do and it's tricky to get right and you may fall outside those who it will appease, I know I currently fall outside of the people that agree with what they're currently doing.
As for the hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine argument, have a read of this: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/0897190021997399?casa_token=6B9NHCaqzk4AAAAA%3A7kcieBqXJJDj52ebaW2oYIzTh42tZQElJcqA3atJ9fEwnmAFuxU6RMksBey1abiyubsdxCJaAGNZpQ
Here is an extract:
Quote: | The toxicity profile reported with the use of these agents includes thrombocytopenia, aplastic anemia, neutropenia, hemolysis (in G6PD-deficient patients), and macular retinopathy.19,22 Mild gastrointestinal side effects were also commonly seen, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhoea. However, a number of more concerning adverse effects were also reported, including ventricular arrhythmia and torsades de pointes. |
As you can see it isn't the completely risk free alternative to the vaccines we have, and medically it is now not advised to be used as research has shown it to be ineffective. As for the minerals again these are things that people should be gaining through their daily food sources, and educated and encouraged to do so. I have taken Vit D for years as I used to work in a basement/room with no windows which is obviously problematic in winter, something I encourage anyone to take unless you work outside all year round.
Just to throw a spanner in the works I think there are partial bits of truth in lots of what Rebel posts, there is also a lot of information which has been disproven and most is dragged out to far-fetched and unbelievable conclusions.
@Rebel, I don't know if you're from a scientific background so apologies if this comes across as patronising but if you want to go through/discuss any scientific papers, or particular topics, then I'm happy to have a discussion. Although medical I am not pharamacology though I do need to know about it day to day. |

Oh dear. It seems Pfizer and Moderna give you expanding heart syndrome, and no, I don't mean it makes you kinder.

I have not seen anything specific that puts me off the Covid vaccines. All of the side effects so far observed seem to be on very small scales. It is the medium to long term that I would be more interested in. For that, we just have to wait and see. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

The vaccine is not inside your body forever. It's in there for a very short period of time until the immune system mops it all up.
The immune response stimulated by the vaccine is inside your body for a protracted period. Forever? Well, we can hope so.
The thing is, our bodies are making immune responses to all sorts of things all of the time. Pretty much to everything we encounter. They are generally pretty good at it, even when left to total random chance. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. We using this thread now since it's got a last page?
I was thinking about splitting the last five or so pages off the old one as a new thread but I was afraid that would make even more of a mess...
Anyway. Back to coronavirus. I've heard quite a few people on the radio today bawwing about how everyone should still have to wear a mask because they are immunosupressed.
I would have thought a more sensible solution would be to give the (tiny percentage) of people who are at very high risk due to immune compromise a high-end N95 respirator type mask that is actually rated to stop droplets and aerosols from being inhaled. They can wear it anywhere they feel they might be at risk. Rather than make everyone else wear a cheap and shitty paper mask that probably doesn't do a very good job in the first place
This part of the population by necessity need to be taking particular care of themselves anyway and would have been best advised to avoid intensely crowded areas even before covid due to the increased risk of one of the many thousands of other diseases that hang around large concentrations of filthy humans. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Old Thread Alert!
The last post was made 2 years, 287 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful? |
