Anyway, what’s all this about under-30s in the UK to be offered an alternative Covid vaccine to the AstraZeneca jab due to the evidence linking it to rare blood clots.
FFS, there’s no direct link, the frequency is less than pre-COVID times, less than air travel and The Pill. Using the phrase, “The benefits outweigh the risks” just reinforces the false view that vaccination promotes clotting. Media pressure overtaking the science. It’s even more damaging because some with an appointment for their second jab might now be deterred, without good reason.
You also have to wonder whether scrutiny of the AZ vaccine specifically is partly because AZ are producing at cost whereas the others are charging. Sly capitalist lobbying? |

What truth is there in the claim that Florida and Texas, who haven't had stringent lockdowns, have faired no worse than anywhere in the US that has?
Personally, I think there are too many variables to make sweeping, definitive claims. Anyway, we are where we are. In the UK at least, domestically, we should be very reluctant about further restrictions at this point. And people must lose this mentality of "oh we can't let anyone die, ever!" I could name quite a few I wouldn't mind helping on their way ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

What? Scotland has large areas of remote nothingness. Since your Scottish Nazi Party is going to be building concentration camps for those who say the wrong thing in these areas if you get your independence, why not throw a few virus-spreaders in there too?
Your trouble is you're reacting emotionally, not using pure facts and logic ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

Everyone needs something to find scary.
You can wind yourself up to be scared of the vaccine.

you can wind yourself up to be scared of anti-vaxxers.

Questions about efficacy notwithstanding, shall we have a little look at the adverse reaction profiles of Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine? The ACTUAL ones which have been directly associated with the drugs use.
Here are the known and proven adverse effects listed for hydroxychloroquine on its data sheet:
Retinopathy, Extrapyramidal disorders, Hypoglycaemia, Chronic cardiac toxicity, Bone marrow depression, Potential carcinogenic risk, Suicidal behaviour and psychiatric disorders.
Ivermectin:
abnormal sensation in eye; anaemia; appetite decreased; asthenia; asthma exacerbated; chest discomfort; coma; confusion; conjunctival haemorrhage; constipation; diarrhoea; difficulty standing; difficulty walking; dizziness; drowsiness; dyspnoea; encephalopathy; eosinophilia; eye inflammation; faecal incontinence; fever; gastrointestinal discomfort; headache; hepatitis; hypotension; joint disorders; leucopenia; lymphatic abnormalities; Mazzotti reaction aggravated; myalgia; nausea; oedema; pain; psychiatric disorder; seizure; severe cutaneous adverse reactions (SCARs); stupor; tachycardia; tremor; urinary incontinence; vertigo; vomiting
Yes. Well that sounds great. Lets hand them out at schools and supermarkets nationwide. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
