Got all the gammons blowing their beans at the thought of a brown girl losing her citizenship. Only time they would.

Turning her back on what is supposedly her own country to support terrorists in foreign lands is not enough for you?

I think she should be let back in the country... and then tried for treason*. But no, it'd be a new identity and security all at the tax payers' expense.

*Followed by hanging, naturally Smile

Definatly not forgiven.

That's the whole problem. Other than the obvious going to join a terrorist organisation that has killed British citizens we will never know what she did. She could have done nothing but pop out babies for the cause or she could have cut the throats of people who the cause didn't like. She could have sown suicide vests or beaten women who didn't wear the veil properly. We will never be able to prove anything either way so all that will happen is she will get a token sentence and a new identity as per Jamie Bulgers killers,

Tut Tut Nobby, you know it's racist to insult people because of the colour of their skin.

The ones saying, “Ah, let the poor girl back in,” will be the first to blame a government which does so when she joins her new mates in a repeat of the Manchester Arena terror attack, where 23 people were killed and 1,017 were injured, many of them children. Alright, maybe she’d come back and become some sort of Mother Teresa figure but why take the risk?

No, it'll be much more nefarious than that. The hand-wringing idiots will be hoping after they her get back in that she's attacked and/or murdered so they can decry what a terrible society this is.

It would have been much easier if nobody had ever heard her name, and if there had been no chance to discuss the matter. However, now we're stuck with this politicised news story and the inevitable prospect of her return here at a later date.
If someone had taken care of this matter much earlier, that would have served the interests of national security better than this circus we have right now. I think the far right are dickheads but prevention is much better than cure when it comes to known terrorist threats or serious risks such as herself.

Well, given how the recent report into the Arena bombing has shown how incompetent our security services can be there is some credibility to the view that if she tried something on when back here she might get away with it. But I still think the hysteria around her is out of proportion to the risk and is mostly driven by feelings of impotence when faced with how sinister terrorism always seems to be. There is still my point than purely criminal terms she's done nothing to the UK. Her move to syria was also facilitated by a Canadian agent who's handlers at any point could have stopped it. (Cue wails of "we should'a given 'er an all 'er mates tickets...blahh blahh).

I'm sure the Albanians on the Channel boats haven't committed any crimes in this country. All the same I'd rather they weren't here.

Im sure we could all make a list of people we don't want here. Im not that keen on Reece Mogg or Charles Bronson and im pretty sure Rishi Sunaks loyalties lay more with his hedgefund pals in Wall St than us, so i would happily deport him and his Neo-lib mates.

AFAIK Charles Bronson committed crimes in this country therefore it is up to us to deal with him. If someone is known to have committed crimes outside this country I would like someone to explain to me why gatekeeping our borders is morally wrong Thinking

If you bowl up to a nightclub and the bouncer has your mug shot for glassing someone in the Dog & Duck last week are they not within their rights to refuse you entry?

Yeah, I don't think many people care about that when it comes right down to it. The only winners if she's let back in is smug activists and human rights lawyers. This country though will be much, much worse off in every conceivable way.

Explain just one conceivable way.

I can see one conceivable way it makes thing better. We would be living up to our obligations uner international law. It's hard diplomatically to bitch at places that don't when we don't ourselves.
